This larger-than-life sculpture functions as a sundial, but it does not point to the numerals, but to the unmarked stones. I am responding here to the inability to orient the hands of the clock, which, after my personal research, is very common. The top of the cross rotates according to the wind and is supposed to indicate the minute hand. With its nervous hasty movement it refers to the inability to orient oneself, to settle in time.
